Have you received your marching orders?

I realize that I am bold in how I desire to be used by the Lord. I know I will always want to have something to say, and to write that which will bring significance to my life.  Truthfully, it is not enough that what I have to say is personally significant; my desire is that it will speak beyond myself to you. Each day that I am out and about, meeting women in all the places that I am drawn to, I look into their faces and I want to have something significant to say to them.  It’s like I can’t help myself!

I have a burning desire to share that which will change lives in a powerful way, and it is not just for you, I need it. Therefore, I am fully aware that before I can write words that will have this kind of impact, I need the Holy Spirit to speak to me. I do not want to speak out of my own flesh, but from His spirit to mine.

When I have sought a deep level of intimacy with the Lord, I am assured that I will have the words that I need. I want to be able to deliver a message, or a word that will speak to that part of you that is searching for truth, that will validate that what you are hearing and seeking is real and life changing.  It is the essence of the scripture in Proverbs 27:7, " As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

I believe that very few of us are satisfied enough with who we are today, that we do not want to move forward into new exciting revelatory places. We want to be all that we can be, move into all that we were created to experience, influence others with what we know to be true, and become the very best example of ourselves. By doing this we will be living life in a way that is not stagnant, nor that is dependent on past glories, but instead reflects our willingness to let go of the past and press into what is ahead. For what is ahead is new, is adventurous, is brilliant, and it is all ours. It will change our perspective on so many levels that we will feel challenged, even to the point we may want to camp out right where we are, even as we know that this is really not our best option. Our best option is to take the evidence that is seen, and press forward to where the unseen is alive and waiting for us.  If we do this, I believe we will live life to its fullest, in every aspect that has personal importance, we will speak out of that fullness in a way that will give testimony to our courage, and we will use it in a way that will glorify Jesus.

Within all of this we will have peace that will deepen with each step, even if those steps are in faith alone. It is in knowing that we do not travel unaided that will bring comfort and steadiness, if the wind whips, and the rains come, and the ground shakes, but still be will take comfort in the Truth that is unshakeable!
