I found a note that I had written one day after the Lord had used me to minister to someone who was in distress. There clearly was a need, but with another of greater importance. In this instance, He was telling me to put aside my feelings and do as He instructed, for He was showing me a posture of brokenness that only He could remedy. While the Lord was speaking, it was clear that there was a message here for me.
It takes spiritual maturity to see a person who is broken and yet whole. They have received Jesus but are not walking in the fullness of their salvation.
God speaks through these times to clarify what we need to understand, and He will use them to accomplish an intended purpose. It takes maturity to recognize that a work is being done here, and not get swallowed up within the personal circumstances that try to override the deeper purpose.
God is all about teaching us significant things of the Spirit to move us along into a greater level of maturity. He will use any and all situations to accomplish this purpose.
Romans 8:1 NIV " Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."
