Do you value your freedom?

I am very aware of the immense freedoms that I live out each day. Freedom in Christ, freedom in my marriage, freedom to pursue what God has called me to, and freedom as a woman within my country of origin where I am recognized as having value. This means that I am free to go, to do, and be all that I can in this life. This being my reality is no small thing, and is a catalyst to freedoms I have yet to realize. As I said this is my reality, so I do not come into agreement with imaginary walls or boundaries. Not what someone else is telling me, but only what I know is true. My spirit cannot be caged, or taken from me, because God by His word defines my freedom.  It comes from knowing that what is invisible is far bigger than what I merely see, that there exists a kingdom that is far more powerful than what the world has to offer, and that through Christ I am free. It is this knowledge that profoundly changes the way I view my life, for I know that my freedom is tied to purpose.

No living thing, man or animal, exists without a purpose. If I had no purpose, I would not exist. Whereas, animals were created to live out their purpose effortlessly driven by instinct, we are created in the image of God, with a deep need to know our purpose. While few will find that god-given purpose if they are not in communion with the Lord, they nonetheless, will strive throughout their lives in search for what is missing. For believers it requires a steadfast commitment to seek God through relationship, and in the process we will come to a place where our unique, innate, godly DNA will be evident as it comes to the surface revealing a purpose driven destiny.

Galatians 5:1 NKJ  "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
