Do we keep our sisters in the dark?

I think that we have gone too far! Are we so guarded not to cross the line of gossip, that we are not allowing the light to shine and expose that which is dark? I know that we would all agree that this is a fine line, and we do not want to cross over it for the wrong reasons. We do not want to be accused of judging another woman for the things that they are doing, as this is never acceptable, but we must find a way to help.

The other day after a conversation with a trusted friend, I realized that we as women have a responsibilty to teach other women. It is basic Proverbs 31, a Scripture we all know. We bring understanding to those that are faltering in life, and positive change when we lead with wisdom.

We must be women of honor, who do not keep still when we have a word of warning, counsel, or instruction that we know will change the direction of an individual. Sometimes we have to take the risk even when we know that some will want to challenge our motivation, and have the courage to step up when no one else will. The courage to speak into the life of a woman, who may reject us, but who needs to hear what we have to say all the same.

Our delivery must be sensitive and timely, but it must happen.

Proverbs 31:26 CSB Her mouth speaks wisdom, and loving instruction is on her tongue.
