Where is your gaze taking you?

If God has a middle name, I believe it is redemption! He is merciful, kind and long-suffering. His is the business of redeeming souls, dreams, promises, time, relationships, and anything else that He values.

Yesterday a woman told me, with tears in her eyes, that time has passed and she knows she is not where she needs to be. Her grief has told her that those days can never be redeemed. She has believed that all the fruitfulness that she missed in days past, have been lost for these present days. I assured her that God is in the business of restoration, and nothing is too difficult for Him. She smiled through those tears.

I am in a season of growth and it feels good. There have been some moments where growing pains may have subdued my enthusiasm, but they were brief. Happily, I know that I am on the path that is right for me. I remain steadfast in believing that what I see before me has been reserved specifically with my gifting in mind.

Knowing that I am on the right path is important, but pursuing this path continually is critical. I am not entertaining thoughts that I have arrived, or am free to just glide along, but I am actively seeking direction, confirmation, and continuous words from the Lord. I am not going anywhere that I don’t see His leading. He has prepared this place for me that is exciting and timely. I will not depart from this place until He makes it clear that it is time to move. Forgive me for my intensity. Those that know me well know I will not voluntarily leave anything on the table that is mine.

The Holy Spirit has spoken much concerning these days. My heart has been set on fire as I meditate on His promises, His declarations of who I am, things that are upon me right now in this season, and the ministry that is in front of me. It is humbling, as it creates a hunger in me that is unmistakable, for I know that my destiny is today and now!

Exodus 13:21-22 CSB The Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to lead them on their way during the day and in a pillar of fire to give them light at night, so they could travel day or night. The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night never left its place in front of the people.

Exodus 33:14-15 NKJV And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then He said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.”
