We both know that I start each of my posts with a question, but aside from this, do you start your day with a personal question? As I was preparing this post it occurred to me that we often do not.
I know that many of us have a million things running through our minds the moment we wake up. Often that list is enough to start us going even before our first cup of coffee, as we begin a strategy as to how we can best accomplish everything in the most practical way. After all, we are women, and this is what we do! Yet, maybe this is the time we should simply ask, “What, When, Where, and Who?”
The what, when, where, and who is really the point this morning. Before we begin our day are we seeking to ask God what His plans may be for us? Perhaps He has a definite what that He wants us to focus on, a time when He knows it will fit perfectly into His plan, for He knows where He wants to take us, and who is waiting for that all important connection. A connection that needs to be made through us to Him.
As I begin making preparations for a trip with my husband I am conscious of the fact that God has encounters that are already in place that are part of His plan. To be sure, these are encounters that I don’t want to miss!
I have a friend that has traveled to a faraway place, and I know that she will have the what, when, where, and who on her radar. She is very responsive to the Lord, so I know He will lead her, and her husband, as they walk the ancient paths. For she is a woman who desires to see, and experience, all that the Holy Spirit makes available for her. This dear friend of mine will neither miss, nor be disappointed, in what God has in store for her as she seeks daily His guidance and blessings by simply asking, “Lord, what do you have for me today?”
