Is your faith the real thing?

This is precisely what is being asked of us now. Do we believe that God will be true to His Word, and deliver the impossible? We believe that God is good, that He wants good for us, and that all things work together for good for all those that love God. We will say this because this is what God’s Word says, but do we believe it is true?

Have you ever said that not all things work out for good for everyone who loves God? Would anyone of us be quick to remind God of the time when He did not come through for someone who was needing Him to act? Would any of us be so bold? Do we have faith to believe God for the impossible today, even when we didn’t see it work out in the way that we thought it should in the past? Please don’t miss my words here. How we thought it should look. In other words, we the children of God telling God how He, the great I Am, should do something, and how that something needs to look to satisfy our faith in Him.

Remember faith is not tangible, so we are called to not only believe in something not yet seen, we are called to believe in spite of not seeing it!

Hebrews 11:1 tells us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Faith is a substance in the spiritual realm. When you are standing strong in God’s Word you are standing strong in agreement with that substance. The evidence of your hope in those things not seen, is your faith! In other words, your faith is the proof that you believe God. You believe what He has spoken and your faith is what keeps you full of hope.

The Bible is very clear on faith and God’s pleasure. God is pleased when our faith functions in visible agreement with our life. As we walk in that agreement our faith becomes unshakeable. We will not faint, or grow weary. Our faith will keep us strong, full of purpose, and unwavering. As I mentioned yesterday, we will not be double minded, which does not please God, but secure in our faith, which does!

Isaiah 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways. This is the Lord’s declaration. For as heaven is higher than earth, so My ways are higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”

1 Peter 1:6-7 TPT May the thought of this cause you to jump for joy, even though lately you've had to put up with the grief of many trials. But these only reveal the sterling core of your faith, which is far more valuable than gold that perishes, for even gold is refined by fire. Your authentic faith will result in even more praise, glory, and honor when Jesus the Anointed One is revealed.
