How are you defining hope?

What do we know? We know that hope in God is not possible without trusting that He is who the Word, Jesus, declares Him to be! We know that hope is not a feeble response to the issues of this life. It is in fact, a declaration that takes what is impossible to imagine, to the very core of the Father’s heart. The Father’s heart will always be positioned to give us all that we can ever think, or imagine. If it were not so, then it would not be written in His word. Believe it is true, agree with His truth, and have your hope abound!

Our hope is our mainstay when we refuse to believe that God is anything but good. It is His goodness that is eternal, and that eternal perspective is as true here in this realm, as it is in the next. It means that we must not allow doubt to cause us to stray, and it we find that we have, then we must make a course correction immediately. By responding quickly we will recover from where the enemy has sought to infiltrate. John 10:10 calls us to action when the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

We must never misplace our authority! It must be used to counter the plans of the enemy. For indeed, it is part of your birthright as a child of inheritance. When the devil comes in and speaks his lies to you, you must speak truth, and that truth will put a stop to his activities.

Micah 7:7 But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.

Romans 5:3-4 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
