Look to the time and season! Don’t miss what is happening and your placement within the time.
We are living in a window of time. The Holy Spiirt is provoking us to desire more of God as we press in to His leading. This includes everything that is pertinent to life and godliness. 2 Peter 2:3 says, His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
The Lord is speaking about the significance of time and place. The time in which we are living is directly proportional to the place we occupy. It is this place, and in this time, that we have been called. Therefore, this is our place and time of significance.
It is in this here and now that we can make a difference. So, you and I are living in a time that has been appointed—as in moments in time, and seasons in time, leading to a lifetime!
And knowing that time and place, placement within time, is important to God should be enough to make it important to us. We don’t want to just be passing through time. We need to do something with this time and our placement within it.
I declare over us that we be pure vessels for His glory in this our life—time! May we make the most of each day we have on this earth.
