I know that life gets busy, and we really don’t have enough hours in the day to complete even the things on the short list, but even so we want to know that we are not missing a change in the season. At the beginning of a new year we commonly make an assessment that will help us to initiate a long overdue change in direction. That direction may be one that has been pulling at us for sometime, or one that is totally new. If it is an old lingering choice that we need to finally agree to, then maybe this will be the time we actually pull the trigger.
With that said, there may be other seasons that we have been waiting to see that are not under our control, but what the Lord must bring. When it becomes obvious that we are entering such a season, a season that has been long awaited, we will recognize it immediately.
These seasons are personal to us all and loaded with promises yet to be realized, so when we are detecting that there is a change coming it is exciting. However, even in the excitement of the revelation, it continues to be a time to press in as God brings to fruition what was promised.
Romans 8:28 NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Psalm 1:3 NKJV He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.
