Can deeper knowledge of God change you?

Over the weekend I had an opportunity to spend time with fellow believers and talk about God. It brought personal confirmation of what I know to be true, as well as some new knowledge. It was a beautiful time of fellowship as we together sought deeper revelation.

I think that many of us are in a season of seeking. We want to understand the deeper revelations that the Bible speaks about, and incorporate them into our lives. Truthfully, once we have seen a new facet of God, as revealed by the Holy Spirit, we can’t help but be changed.

One question that came to mind for me was, “Am I remembering who I am?” As I examine this question, I know that I can not be sure of who I am if I don’t know Whose I am. I do know that I want my identity to be determined by much more than how I desire others to perceive me. Who I am must be grounded and visible by Whose I am before anything else can make sense to me!

Proverbs 25:2 NKJV It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

How do we keep our spiritual zeal alive?

Can identity give you the will to stand?
