Have you offered someone the option to choose life or death?

If you are a believer, then you answered yes to eternal life, and I am sure you praise God every day. I know that I do as well. We are living our lives here on earth, knowing that we will live for all eternity one day with God.

Last weekend I had the privilege to be in the company of believers who are hungry to see those who do not know Jesus come into His marvelous light. It should be a very sobering reality for all believers when we think that there are so many who have yet to answer the call to the Savior.

I know that for some, fear surfaces when we think of sharing our faith, the love of God, and the difference that love has made in our lives. For believers, we can easily get caught up with our own blessings, not truly aware of how many are walking in darkness. These are facts that we might not even realize that we are ignoring. One term I heard recently was mechanical christianity, which I believe fits perfectly.

We are not called to hide our Treasure away, but we are called to be salt and light by bringing the flavor of God to a perishing world, and to be a reflection of His light to those that are walking far from Him. We have one life to live and one life to give, as we share the joy of salvation with those who need to know Jesus. Instead of allowing fear or intimidation to get in the way of sharing the gospel of Christ, think what it would be like looking into the eyes of Jesus when He asks, ‘Why did you not tell the world about Me?’

Luke 15:7 CSB I tell you, in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who don’t need repentance.
