My oldest grandchildren are brother and sister. They have an awesome relationship even at 8 and 11, as there is a level of trust that is unmistakable. I found a recent entry in my journal that confirmed this to be the case. This grandson asked his sister to close her eyes and keep walking. She did so without a moment’s hesitation. It was such a witness to me of the level of trust that we all need.
God is forever faithful to His children. His level of care for us is clearly expressed in His Word. God says He gives His angels charge over us that we would not dash our foot. He will take care of us, just as He takes care of the birds of the air. All are important and not to be dismissed.
For our part we need to trust God and keep walking. He will get us to where we need to be as we step outside of our circumstances and trust in His leading. Simple truth, simply stated.
Joshua 1:9 CSB “Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord you God is with you wherever you go.”
