Is what you are saying important enough to keep saying it?

Asking this question does not speak of redundancy, but of importance. When we have a message that will not go away, and we feel it is necessary to speak of it often, then there is a good chance that it is part of our calling. I experienced this  eight years ago when I was introduced to the Proverbs 31 woman. I was familiar with the scripture and had read it often, but until that spring of 2010 I was not attracted to the woman herself. I may have believed that she was not relevant to the times we live in, and so I was not too interested in pursuing her further.

But, I am pleased to say that my opinion changed when I begin studying her closely and understanding the depth of her character. It is probably easy to see I am speaking of a woman who is real to me. Real because I see her in myself, and in so many of you!

This woman has gotten, and kept my attention for these last several years, and understanding her message and purpose has given me a strong voice in the marketplace. She is someone to admire for her wisdom and initiative to follow her heart, a following that benefits those around her.

The Proverbs 31 scripture is considered a book of wisdom; a guide for women, where at the core rests her ability to operate successfully in her gifts and talents, a woman who walks in His truth and His word, and is walking out her destiny in Christ.

I will be sharing more of this woman and how she relates to us, but for today let me simply say who I see when I look at her.

I see a woman who:

is fearless as she trusts God,

is awake to what is happening around her,

engages with others as she shares her life to help them prosper,

is transparent in her ways,

is motivated to do good,

is held in esteem by those who recognize her character and merit.

and who influences the lives of the people around her.
