Are you moved by the cross?

Christians across the world are preparing to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus, but before we can experience the miracle of Easter we must bear witness to the cross. As I was journaling my thoughts the other day I was reflecting on the cross and its impact on humanity. The following is out of my journal.

The flesh of Jesus was crucified on the cross. His body was broken in its human state. All wrath and enmity was taken out on His flesh, while within His spirit was the truth of His identity. The Spirit of God residing in flesh and bone. God made manifest within His own image, within the fragility of man, He lived and had His being.

And then He was awakened to life again. Death no longer having a hold on Him. Freedom from death became His gift to us. No longer bound to an earthly grave, our spirits will soar for all eternity.

Christ Has Died!

Christ Has Risen!

Christ Will Come Again!

Revelation 22:20 ESV He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon." Amen. 'Come Lord Jesus!'

Is Monday a good place to start?

Is distraction causing you to lose your creative focus?
