Yesterday was the conclusion of a two-day conference that I have been attending. One of the main speakers pointed out that she will often ask someone what they have been dreaming. It becomes her way to better understand them, and the direction that they are being called.
What I love about speaking out our dreams is that our passion to share is often what ignites a spark in us. It can effectively propel not only us, but also those who are listening. What becomes exciting is when we see others begin pressing in personally for themselves. Sometimes it is just because we took the chance, and dared to give voice to our dreams.
I think that sometimes we dismiss our dreams as totally unrealistic, or we might even believe the door has permanently closed. My argument will always be that it is never too late. Just look at Grandma Moses and what she achieved in her latter years. You will be amazed.
I know that our dreams may need to be tweaked, or adjusted from those of yesterday, but they should still look like our dreams!
So, what are you dreaming?
