As believing women in relationship with God, who have been born again by His Spirit, God is not elusive. The Holy Spirit bears witness of who Jesus is in the Father, and the love that the Father has for His Son. That same love is the love that the Father has for us because Jesus resides within us. In other words, the Father is always available for Jesus and so that availability is for us as well.
When I think of defining elusive I think of something that is hard to find, and that doesn’t allow for clear perception. While these words can be used to define many things in this life, what they do not capture with any element of truth is our God.
I wonder how often we think that God is not hearing our prayers because we are not seeing the results that we want? Perhaps, we need to change our approach and from the start remind ourselves of exactly who God is, for our God declares that He will be found when we look for Him. Not only will we find Him, but when we are going through things that stretch us He is right with us. His promises are always yes and amen.

Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
