Failure is not an option! Perhaps it is an overused phrase. Yet, in regard to our walk as followers of Christ it is absolutely the truth. We must be drawing our strength from a place of established victory.
I heard this line in a song the other day that declares what I profess in faith. This world is shaken, but we cannot be shaken! We may be surrounded by people that are lost, afraid, feeling the affects of daily defeat, but that is not us. Therefore, since it is not us, we have an opportunity to inject faith, trust, and victory into the marketplace with our conversations. Those conversations must be focused on advancing against the enemy and never about retreat!
Throughout the Old Testament we see where God encouraged His people to trust in Him for their victory. Victory has always belonged to our God, demonstrated from the very beginning of existence, and the final battle won by Jesus for all eternity.
How do we practically speak in such a way that makes a lasting impact? We must be confidently speaking words that have eternal value and not fear. As believing woman we have such an opportunity to influence those that we meet with encouraging words. Those words must be delivered with Holy Spirit humility, integrity, and love that courageously reverberates victory. Finally, others must not only hear the words that we speak, they must see that we wave the victory banner with zeal!
2 Corinthians 2:14-15 CSB But thanks be to God, who always leads us in Christ’s triumphal procession and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of Him in everyplace. For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
