Who taught you how to survive adversity?

The other day I saw an interesting dedication in a cookbook. It was dedicated to those mothers who had taught their children how to be fruitful during times of adversity. I am quite sure they were not referring to recipes gone bad, and like you, I envisioned more than baking.

If we are not women who are giving our children, friends, and people we love the tools that we know will help them during very tough times, then we are falling down on the job! We need to step up and demonstrate what it is to stand firm. Even when the storms rage against us, we must show that our resiliency is based on something much deeper than having a strong constitution.

For there to be a foundation that becomes a generational blessing it must be based on more than our life experiences. It must be established on the truth of God’s Word that is deeply ingrained in our souls. From this place we will speak words of wisdom, giving our loved ones what they desperately need. Most importantly, we will send them to the Father, for He alone is their strong tower.

Isaiah 41:10 CSB Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.

Do you experience stability with each step that you take?

Has anything good ever come from judgement?
