This week has been especially busy for me. It has been a week of intense study and seeking the Spirit of God for discernment and wisdom. Today when I went to write my post I had so many different thoughts going through my mind, but one thing was very clear. The post that I had thought to write needs further clarification. It is a question that needs to be answered, but not before I seek the Lord regarding some details. So, below you will see my thoughts this day that are crystal clear for me.
I want to be used by God in whatever capacity He sees best, so for me that means lining up with His Kingdom and not the world. The world would have me believe that they have the answers to all my questions. Instead, I choose to ask God. Not only do I choose to ask God, I choose to wait until He answers me.
Below are my unwavering beliefs that have given me comfort this week.
Jesus gave us His peace when He left the earth.
His peace is permanent and we can depend on it.
Jesus does not remove His peace to get us to move.
Jesus does not lift His grace to get us to change direction.
Peace and grace are a gift, a permanent gift!
When change comes it is not an elusive clue that we have to figure out.
We have freedom in the Kingdom of God to pursue things of God, to make an impact in those areas of pursuit, and to live in joy.
Isaiah 55:12-13 CSB You will indeed go out with joy and be peacefully guided; the mountains and the hills will break into singing before you, and the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead, of the thorn bush, a cypress will come up, and instead of the brier, a myrtle will come up; this will stand as a monument for the Lord, an everlasting sign that will not be destroyed.
