Do our eyes see with childlike awe?

My oldest granddaughter speaks from her heart, and from that place of unlimited God potential she will declare what she believes. One thing that she is fond of declaring is that her grandfather is a world famous artist, and that one day she will be the same. This girl is lovely to behold, and her spirit will not be caged.

Do you remember yourself at nine years old? I know that I was a happy child, that I loved my family, played with my dolls, and was passionate about my friends. But, I didn’t have the baptism of the Holy Spirit so my expectations remained very childlike, and although imaginative, they would have been wrought with limitations.

As I fast forward many decades, I have in many ways returned to viewing my God potential with the eyes of a child, but this time I am an informed child. Essentially, I have matured in my understanding of God, the workings of the Holy Spirit, and my identity that has been rooted in Christ. As a result, I now possess a deep knowing that with God nothing is impossible.

When the Father says to dream big, He is not kidding! God’s Word declares that we are chosen, we are cherished, and that the promises that He has made to us are true.

God wants us to examine His Word, receive all that He has spoken, and with awe and wonder be that young child. A young child who now is old enough to know that all we could ever think or imagine is available to us today.

Matthew 19:14 NIV Jesus said,”Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Are you willing to hold nothing back?

Do you believe that every little bit counts?
