Women do not miss much! It must come from years of watching our families, our children, and all that were in our circle of care. We didn’t just look out for our children on the playground, we were conscious of every other child that seemed to be on the fringes, and who looked like they might be ready to bolt. The pool, beach, school field trips, all and many more made us into the women that we are today.
We all know that once you learn to ride a bike you never forget, and not only do we not forget how to ride our bikes, but we seem to want to instruct others as to the best way to navigate their own.
I am quite sure that every woman on the planet can relate to this, but for believing women it becomes something so much more. We are compelled to bring the Lord into the forefront of our encounters, to be sure that we are not just speaking out of life experience, but out of godly wisdom. It is the wisdom that comes from walking with the Holy Spirit that will stir within the people that we meet the hunger for much more than the woman that they see standing in front of them. We will be used to make that first impression count, but Jesus will take it to the next level.
There are many people that I see walking along the road that I believe need a touch from God, but it isn’t until they hold up that sign that they are asking to be noticed.
Luke 19:1-5 CSB He entered Jericho and was passing through. There was a man name Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. He was trying to see who Jesus was, but he was not able to because of the crowd, since he was a short man. So running ahead, he climbed up a sycamore tree to see Jesus, since He was about to pass that way. When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down because today it is necessary for me to stay at your house.”
