This morning, the ballots that were cast yesterday on election day, have spoken. What the results have revealed is that we need to be praying. Paul says, in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer, in every situation (no matter the circumstances) be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. This Scripture makes our life position very clear. We are to remain in an attitude of prayer!
When we pray without ceasing it keeps us on the ready! We remain connected to Holy Spirit, hearing His voice speak to us, as we go throughout our day, for with the Spirit we are continually in fellowship.
My family and I are not pleased with the outcome of an election that has clearly set itself up against the principles of God, but we are not bitter, or complaining. We are praying the solution! Asking Holy
Spirit for His words. His words will align with the heart of the Father and Jesus!
2 Chronicles 7:14 amplified And My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn away from their wicked ways, then I will hear (them) from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.
