I know that our walks are not always easy, but I also know that God gives us the strength we need to overcome what comes against us. My aim is to be ready with words that speak of God’s faithfulness and love when others ask me why I am victorious. Being prepared to give an account is a powerful witness to others of what and Who we believe for many are watching.
Faith gives us the ability to overcome when we look like we are outnumbered. We are overcomers when we believe in God’s faithfulness when we are cursed and mocked by many of those who do not. We are overcomers when we refuse to give into the fear that the devil throws at us. And we are overcomers when we use God’s Word to stand when all we want to do is give into the grief and pain.
Despite it all, we do indeed stand because Jesus has overcome this world.
1 John 5:4 NKJV For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith.
