Are you a believing woman having conversation?

Three months ago I started writing this blog, and it has been a blessing to me. I am hoping it has been a blessing to you as well. It has been engaging, and challenging to write five days out of the seven, but I know that it is right. I am certain that there has been fruit during this time, but it is different than what I imagined. I assumed an easy transition from writing to sitting with women, and doors for meaningful conversation being flung open as we allowed transparency to lead us. Truthfully, there are many one on one encounters and meeting with new women, but I want more! My desire is that we will be drawn to come out and gather with other women on a larger scale.

I believe this to be a time of preparation, and that a foundation is being securely laid down.  For this reason these days are both instructional, valuable, and not to be hurried. Through it all I am confident that God is leading me and that none of these days is wasted. My part is to continue listening, moving forward, and incorporating what I am learning from the blog into my personal walk. Honestly, I don't know how I would separate myself even if I wanted to, which I don't. I have been changed by the words that flow over me, and I am pressing in and on!

The other day at the food store where I shop I had awesome conversation with two women who I frequently see. They are women who understand the important roles they play in keeping the family together. Our encounter was refreshing and truthful as we stood in agreement of what women are called to do.

What I know is that women need to come together in unity and bring their strength, faith, experience and knowledge to the forefront, where it will do the most good. We all need to be faithful witnesses to what Jesus is doing in our lives. This witness will then have its impact in touching many more.
