Where are you looking for the promise?

I love the night sky, and lately I have been able to appreciate it more fully. When you are camping you spend most of your time outdoors, and looking at the stars is a given. We have been experiencing the awesomeness of such a display in Arizona near to the Grand Canyon.

God gave Noah a promise in the form of remarkable color. Abraham was told to look up at the stars because his descendants would be that numerous. God's promise was a constant reminder for them both. One was given a rainbow and the other the night sky.

What has God promised you, and what has He used to keep it fresh and visibly present in your life?

We can loose perspective when we loose sight of the promises of God, but when we hold on to those promises we experience an enduring faith that can not be taken from us.

The promises of God are for us, and as such should be closely protected.

John 10:10 NKJ The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Are you looking at a blank sheet of paper?

Are you in the habit of calling upon the Holy Spirit?
