Are you en route?

The word route can be defined as a way, or road for passage. Clearly route speaks of movement and action. If I am en route to a place then I am not idle. It is movement with purpose that leads to a specific place.

As I write and work through what the above paragraph implies, it is clear. There is place before me that I am intentionally moving towards, and what drives this forward motion is the knowledge that it is waiting.

My understanding is quite simple. We have a roadmap here on earth that as believers we know is very intentional. As we walk led by God's word we know that our path is illuminated by the Holy Spirit. That path is taking us in the natural to a place where supernaturally Jesus has seen us.

As a woman who pursues God, knowing that Jesus has divinely seen me in such a place is exciting and encouraging. It truly keeps me focused on Jesus and in pursuit of Him.

Our route can be littered with obstacles whose purpose is to cause delay, but we must stay the course. When frustration tries to lead us astray we need to keep that prepared place as our focus.

1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived"- the things God has prepared for those who love him-

Do we avoid bringing Jesus into the conversation?
