Some of us may not think that we carry much influence, but how do we measure such things? If we think of a circle of influence in the literal sense, then all within that circle are impacting each other. And if we believe that this is true it becomes very important who you invite into your circle, or even from whom you accept invitations.
Hopefully, I have not confused anyone with my explanation, but if so let me say it another way. We influence and we get influenced by the people we associate with the most.
If our circle is spiritually healthy and God focused, then we will likely be symbiotic, in relationships to mutually benefit each other. While these kinds of relationships speak of unity, there are those that function quite the opposite. Here we see individuals that seems to battle discord, confusion, and disharmony. Interestingly enough, you might think that these relationships are not sustained for long as they are toxic in many ways, but often these people become co-dependent with each other. The dependency is not healthy, but they continue in relationship out of familiarity and past history, influencing each other in very negative ways.
We do have an example of the perfect circle of love, unity, and all things good. Where respect and building up each other is paramount to the relationship. This relationship is our example to live by. It is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and we know Them as the Trinity. The Trinity is our standard and there is none better for us to look upon, for They are the perfect circle of influence.
Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
