Are we missing someone important?

When did you last take a serious look at the women in your life? These are women you may see frequently, or not, but who have impacted you along the way. They may be women who have been a part of your walk for years, or rather new acquaintances. Truthfully, all are important, as they bring a significant piece of themselves into the relationship.

I am in a personal season of what I will call acceleration, and it is nothing less than exciting. This season has me on the lookout for women who are overcoming many of the hindrances that have presented themselves, and who are inspiring other women to do the same.

As relevant as these new relationships are to me, I don’t want to neglect those that have been fundamental to who I have become. Women that I love, and who have been steadfast in their desire to maintain relationship. These same women have supported and prayed for me, as I have for them. I will never leave them behind, for in the mist of all that is happening with new friendships, I know that I need all of my old friends close by me. Having them near makes these days very precious, indeed, as we celebrate all that God is doing in our lives.

Proverbs 27:9 NLT The heartfelt counsel of a friend is as sweet as perfume and incense.

Why are you here?
