Are you good at assimilation?

When I looked up the definition of assimilation I read words like absorbing, adapting, and adjusting. Interesting to me was the fact that they all began with the letter a, but that aside, I love this word. I think the definition that I most relate to in regard to assimilation is absorption.

When we understand that something is good for us we are more likely to take it on board. We will incorporate it into our life, we will look to where we can apply it, we will allow it to change who we are, what we do, and how we think. All of this is vitally important because when we are given something of value, and we don’t use it to change how we live, then we are missing out.

God’s Word can be trusted. When we take His word and use it as our standard of belief then we are allowing it to transform us. Truthfully, when we know that we will be changed by absorbing God’s truth, it is making the most of what has been made available to us. It is receiving, believing, and then taking action to own it!

Matthew 26:26-28 CSB As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take and eat it; this is my body.” Then He took a cup, and after giving thanks, He gave it to them and said, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

Can you identify with victory?

Are you in agreement with, "for such a time as this?"
