It is that time of year again! Everywhere we look something is blossoming, trees have once again filled out to the max, and green is all around us. New life is exciting!
Beauty has been a hot topic for me for the last few months, and I find it is still continuing. As we see our natural world coming back to life after a long winter, it is hard to escape it.
On a personal level, I know that what is happening in this physical world is just enhanced by what I am feeling on the inside. I have been in a long season of growth, which is far from what it looks like when the winter seems to put all of what we enjoy into a hibernation period.
I think that what I am saying here is that we can expect to process life in a fuller way when we ourselves are full. When we have been allowing the promises of God to take our roots deep into His spiritual soil, then it will shape our perspective on everything we experience. It is the simple observation of a glass being half full, or half empty that comes to mind, and as with most things, we get to decide!
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (Passion Translation) God has planted eternity in our hearts. Our hearts live in an eternal realm. Our very being is eternal.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV He had made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
