May I be allowed to speak to who you are?

The other day I received a card that is just too good to keep to myself. So, I am going to share it with all of you. After all, this is who you are! The card was addressed, “To Beautiful You,” and since this is how I see all of you, I certainly feel it is appropriate.

If no one has told you lately what a remarkable woman you are, I’d like to remedy that today.

There are many lovely, inspiring things about you, and I’d like to pass this note along to you today, with much admiration and gratitude.

Thank you for the smiles in your eyes and the blessings you bring to just about everything. Thank you for sharing this journey through life, for making every path happier, and for spreading so much joy around wherever you go.

I’m so grateful for all the amazing things you do. And that’s why…

This is for someone so beautiful.

This is for you!

We all know that Mother’s Day is around the corner, and receiving such a note from our child, or a spiritual son or daughter, would bless us immensely. However, I want you to know that it does not take a holiday to express who you are, and thank you for the many things that you do.

As women who love God, and love those in our care, we are never idle when it comes to taking care of these precious people in our lives. I know that sometimes the recipients of this kind of love can forget because we may make it look easy, and yet it does require making intentional choices on our part.

If I were sitting next to you right now, as you are reading this post, I think I can imagine what you would be thinking. You would be saying that you do it because it blesses you more than what you could ever give away.

This dear woman, is why you truly are all of the things that this message has said about you. Your heart and mind has been shaped by the God we serve, and it has made you beautiful, indeed!

May I give you one more piece of information that I think will bless you. The message in the card that I received, from a woman, was written by a man. I think we can guess what kind of a woman his mother, grandmother, or auntie was, and we can see how their voice, and behavior, impacted his life. Consequently, he has grown into a man who not only recognizes the value of godly women in his life, he is not afraid to say it!

Ephesians 2:10 CSB For we are His creation-created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.

Do we dance for the One?

Are we allowing demographics to keep us apart?
