I know that this is a strange question to ask the day after Memorial Day, but for me it just seems like I am being pulled forward. When I say this, I can tell you that it is not about the next season as it relates to the time of year, but about what I am certain that God is doing. This is not a new thing for me, as I often feel that even while I am entering into one season God is already talking about the one around the corner.
There was a time in my walk with God that I would ask to see what He was doing, where I was going, and what I could expect in the days ahead, but that season has changed for me. I am still waiting for God to reveal what He is doing in my life, but I now have a deeper understanding of what to expect. As our relationship has grown, so has my perspective on how those days will play out. Of course, this does not mean that I know for certain what is coming, or what it will look like, but I do know that it is coming. I have learned to trust the signs, the indicators, the people around me that speak into my life, and the Holy Spirit.
If you have been reading this blog, then you will know that the last 12 days has been nothing if not interesting. What became so obvious is that praying, and ministering to the people who God brings across your path is the most important aspect of anywhere you go. When you have the grace to speak life into believers, as well as unbelievers, it gives you a definite Holy Spirit high. You feel energized as you look for the opportunities to do good things for others.
In light of this, there does come a time when reflection is important, and so it must not be overlooked. The other day, after speaking to a couple from Arizona it became clear to me that whenever God uses you in situations to minister to others, bring words of knowledge, bring love and acceptance, there is something critical that must not be missed.
I thought of Who was making these introductions possible, Who was leading us, and Who was directing us, and I was humbled. Without Jesus nothing we do would have any relevance, but with Jesus, all that we do in His name has the potential to change the trajectory of someone’s life for all of eternity.
God is calling me into a season of more revelation, and that revelation is not just for me. It is revelation that must be shared freely. It is about speaking of the things of heaven, calling them down to earth with our authority where they have power, and where they are needed in this season of our lives!
2 Corinthians 5:18-20 CSB Everything is from God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us.
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making His appeal through us. We plead Christ’s behalf: “Be reconciled to God.”
