Does your geographic location work for you?

I was looking at a world map when this question came to me. I thought how we are all somewhere, and how we are really needed where we are. Often, we are drawn to faraway places, places that have an instant appeal. We like to imagine what it would be like to be used by God to those people, in those regions, believing we would somehow have a greater impact.

I have heard it said that God will use us where we are planted. I love this!

Yes, Lord use me to my neighbors, to strangers I meet in the marketplace, and in a broader sense, in my community. I don’t have to be in exotic places to bring You forward. I can simply look to my right or left and see where I can make an impact.

Those who are familiar with the 5 fold ministry that Paul talks about in Ephesians should appreciate what the Holy Spirit spoke to me about recently. Holy Spirit said that although we may distinctly know if we are called to be an apostle, a prophet, an evangelist, a pastor, or a teacher, there will be occasions when we will be called to flow outside of those areas. In fact, there will be times when we are absolutely needed in areas where we may not feel fully equipped.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that when we step into ministry it is for Him not for us. We are a tool and an instrument to be used by the Lord. We may be in the marketplace, we may be doing an activity we love, or we may just be on our phone listening to someone speak. Whatever He needs at that moment is what we become. It is that simple.

When Jesus needs you, you become what Jesus needs! We become crossover tools for the kingdom of God that are multifaceted.

Psalm 16:11 Amplified Bible You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Is there a bridge in place to bring healing?

Are you believing what you speak?
