Is there a bridge in place to bring healing?

It is vital to our survival/success in this world to have a secure bridge in place that will comfort us, encourage us, and keep us moving forward.

As believers, our bridge is God and our faith in Him. It is true that the Lord will put people in place to help in the process, but never over Himself. God is foremost at all times when it comes to healing.

Healing is personal and can take time. While many will stand with you in the beginning, there may come a time when they will have moved away, and you will still be somewhere in the middle. However. we can be comforted even in those times by an absolute truth. The Father will never leave, the Father will never disappoint us, and the Father will never abandon us in our pain,

True healing is about experiencing the love of God in a real and intimate way. The truth is that man can’t heal his own soul. Only Jesus, who is the lover of our soul, can do it. Jesus puts us into the healing river where we encounter Him. It is a river that flows perpetually, enduring forever.

Healing takes courage. Courage to face each day in strength, knowing in difficult times it is the faith in your heart that sustains you. Faith in the Healer allows you to stand when the ground feels like crumbling sand. When you feel so broken you think that you will never be whole again. True reality comes when you understand that you can’t fix yourself, and that only the Lord can fix what is broken inside of you.

Surrender to the brokenness! See the hand of the Father take care of business in your life that you didn’t even know needed taking care of. Watch as He takes you deeper into relationship and ministers to your heart with gentleness and strength. God is good and in Him there is no darkness. You are safe in His loving arms.

Our family recently lost a beloved pet and in those moments of grief I felt the heart of the Father for me. From that time came this post. I have shared this, in more detail, with women in a group I lead and the Healer ministered to many in a profound way.

Psalm 103:1-5 Amplified Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul. And all that is (deep) within me, bless His holy name. Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget any of His benefits. Who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from the pit. Who crowns you (lavishly) with lovingkindness and tender mercy; who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed life the (soaring) eagle.
